Solaris Zone view
The Solaris Zone view is an Oracle Solaris implementation of operating system-level virtualization that provides a protected environment for applications to run in, and acts as isolated virtual servers within a single operating system instance. The applications are protected to provide software fault isolation.
To facilitate the management of multiple applications and their environments, they co-exist within one operating system instance, and are managed as one entity. A native, default zone on the Oracle Solaris OS is called a container, and the terms zone and container are often used interchangeably.
The Solaris Zone view enables you to manage the capacity of a virtualized infrastructure that runs the Solaris zones.
To access the Solaris Zone view, in the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard navigation pane, select 
> Capacity > Views > Virtualization > Solaris > Zone. The Solaris Zone page contains subviews that provide details about Solaris zone hosts, zones, future saturations, and maps.

Settings for the Solaris Zone view
You can use the Settings page to configure the settings for all pages in the Solaris Zone view. To access this page, on the Solaris Zone view page, select 
> Edit Settings.
Local settings
You can manage the local thresholds by configuring the Maps Settings and Other Settings.

The Optimizer Thresholds link opens the Thresholds page in the Helix Capacity Optimization Console that enables you to view and manage the metric and indicator thresholds. For more information, see Configuring-and-managing-thresholds-for-metrics-and-indicators.
