Hosts page in the Hyper-V Overview view
The Hosts page provides an overview of all available Hyper-V hosts in the Hyper-V virtualization environment, including details about CPU and memory utilization, unused resources and more.
The following figure shows the Hyper-V Hosts view displaying all Hyper-V hosts present in the Gateway Server domain.

To access the Hyper-V Hosts view in the navigation panel of Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard, select > Capacity Views > Virtualization > Hyper-V > Overview > Hosts tab.
Viewing the Hosts table
The Hyper-V Hosts table lists all Hyper-V hosts in the selected domain.
Each row corresponds to a Hyper-V host and shows the following information:

Viewing Hyper-V host details
To view the details page for a particular Hyper-V host, click the host name in the Host column in the view table.
The details page for each host, displays the following information:
- General details: General host details, such as name, type, description and number of elements within it are displayed at the top of the page.
Related Information panel: Displays links to detailed pages for Thresholds and Partition details.
Click on the Thresholds link takes you to the Thresholds page that allows you to view and manage threshold settings for the selected Hyper-V cluster. For more information, see Configuring-and-managing-thresholds-for-metrics-and-indicators.
Clicking on the Partition details takes you to the Partitions view tab, that displays information about all configured partitions in the selected Hyper-V host. For more information, see Virtual-Machines-page-in-the-Hyper-V-Overview-view.
- Tags panel: Displays tags, if any, that are associated with the cluster. For more information, see Working-with-tag-filters.
Summary information: The Summary tab, that is displayed by default, displays performance details for the selected host in a horizontal summary table, as well as charts.
Core metrics for the selected entity are displayed as analysis charts, depending on available data. At the bottom of each chart is a link that takes you to the Data Explorer view for the specific resource type, and displays charts and information for a larger set of metrics. You can download charts, annotate them, print them, and so on. For more information, see Managing-charts.
- Configuration Details: The Configuration Details tab displays the configuration metrics for the host.

Using data filters and other controls in tables
You can sort and filter the information that is displayed in tables to suit your need. For instance, you can show or hide columns, filter tables on particular domains, and so on.
