Maps page in the AIX PowerVM view

The Maps page in the AIX PowerVM view provides a graphical representation of the virtual capacity. The page shows metrics for Virtual hosts that will saturate either their CPU or memory within the next 30 days. All values are calculated over the last full month, and the current month.

To access the page, in the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard navigation pane, click Capacity Views > Virtualization > AIX > PowerVM, click the Maps tab.

This representation is implemented by using a data visualization tool called Tree Maps. The Tree Map view displays system entities in a hierarchical fashion by using a series of clustered rectangles, which together represent a whole system.
