Regions page in the OpenStack view


The Regions page in the OpenStack view displays information about the region, an infrastructure segregation that is used for separating geographic areas. It lets you view capacity and decision support metrics at the region level in OpenStack views.

You can access this page in the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard using one of the following ways:

  • Select  Capacity > Views > Cloud > OpenStack  and click the Regions tab.
  • In the OpenStack > Cloud page, navigate to the Related Information panel and click the Regions link.

The following figure shows the Regions view page displaying region related information for a selected cloud.

The Regions table lists all regions of the OpenStack view contained in the selected cloud.

Each row corresponds to the OpenStack region and displays the following information. By default, some columns are hidden. You can show or hide columns using the action menuaction_menu.pngthat is located next to the Regions table title. Viewing detailed information about a region

After you click on the region in the Region column, the details for that region are displayed in the Region Details page. The Region details page displays the following information:

Using data filters and other controls in tables

You can sort and filter the information that is displayed in tables to suit your need. For instance, you can show or hide columns, export the data to Excel, select a different cloud, clear the selected cloud, and so on.
