EBS Volumes page in the AWS EC2 Instances view


An EBS Volume is a storage device that can be used with EC2 instances in the AWS environment. The EBS Volumes page in the AWS EC2 Instances view provides an overview of all available EBS volumes. It lets you view capacity and decision support metrics at the volume level in EC2 instances view.

To access this page, in the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard, select  Capacity > Views > Cloud > AWS > AWS EC2 Instances and click the EBS Volumes tab.

Viewing the EBS Volumes table

The EBS Volumes table lists the following information for each EBS volume. You can sort columns in tables alphabetically, or by size. For more information, see Sorting-a-table-in-the-Helix-Capacity-Optimization-Dashboard.

Viewing detailed information about an EBS volume

After you click on the EBS volume in the EBS Volume Name column, the details for that EBS volume are displayed in the EBS Volume Details  page. The EBS Volume Details  page displays the following information:

Using data filter and other controls in tables 

You can export and filter the information that is displayed in tables to suit your need. For instance, you can show or hide columns, filter tables on particular domains, and so on. For more information, see Using-filtering-options-in-the-Helix-Capacity-Optimization-Dashboard and 2020-12-09_04-32-03_Exporting and filtering tables. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
