Candidate Assignments in a virtualization study
Select the Candidate Assignments tab to view the assignment details for the candidates used in the consolidation study.
The following table describes the columns in the Candidates Assignment table:
Column | Description |

Guest | The candidate guest that will be deployed on the target. |
Assigned Target | The name of the target to which the candidate is assigned. Clicking the name will display a detailed report for the target. |
Assigned Storage | The storage unit assigned for the candidate computer (only shown if storage analysis is enabled). |
OS | The operating system of the candidate computer. |
Description | A description for the guest, if one has been entered. |
Peak Perf Rating Used | The maximum performance rating used by the candidate computer. |
Avg Perf Rating Used | The average performance rating used by the candidate computer for the selected duration. |
Before | Mem Used (GB): The memory used by the candidate computer. Mem Cfg (GB): The total amount of memory configured for the candidate computer. |
After | Mem Used (GB): The memory used by the candidate computer. Mem Cfg (GB): The total amount of memory configured for the candidate computer. |
Disk storage (GB) | The disk storage used by candidate computer. |
Previous Location | The location of the candidate before assignment to the target. |
