Accessing and navigating the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard

To access the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard

1. Enter the development or production URL in the address bar of a supported browser:
   • Development environment: https://<customerprefix>-dev-optdash.onbmc.com
   • Production environment: https://<customerprefix>-optdash.onbmc.com
2. (For the first login attempt) Enter your application domain name and click Submit.

3. Enter the user name and password, and click Log In. 

   The default credentials for logging in to the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard:

   • Username: ho-admin
   • Password: admin12345

   The Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard opens.

You can also access the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard from the Helix Capacity Optimization Console.

Overview of the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard

After you log in to the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard, the Home page of the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard is displayed:

From the Home page, you can do the following tasks:

• Access links for configuring data collection, viewing capacity and custom views, generating reports, and using the advanced capabilities, such as analysis and models. To view the documentation for each of these tasks, click the corresponding Read more link.
• Expand the navigation pane to perform the admin activities and access the capacity and custom views, the Investigate tool, and Cloud Cost Control.
• Access the Action menu to change password, configure user preferences, view the dashboard help, and log out of the dashboard.
