Retrieve log files from remote computers
Use the bgsagent_logs command line utility to obtain Gateway Server log files from a remote agent computer, without logging on to the computer. If you are not able to log on to the remote agent computer, it can be difficult to obtain log files as you might have to wait for a system administrator to get them for you.
bgsagent_logs lets you easily retrieve the Perform Agent and Collector log files. The following shows an example of the utility syntax where agentNode is the name of the Perform Agent computer from which you want to retrieve and display the log files:
bgsagent_logs -n agentNode
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
