Installing Cloud Cost Control

Note

When you install Cloud Cost Control, you can see all the features such as Cost Pools, Cloud Services, and Budgeting. However, you are entitled to use only the cloud migration simulation feature according to your license entitlement.

To install Cloud Cost Control:

  1. In the Helix Capacity Optimization Console, select Administration > System > Maintenance.
    The Maintenance page is displayed. The Additional Packages table lists the available packages.
  2. For Cloud Cost Control, click the install.pngInstall icon.

  3. Review the message and click Next.

  4. Review the details of the package and click Proceed.

    Cloud Cost Control is installed.
    To see the deployment details, click thedeploy_log_icon.pngView deployment log icon.
  5. Verify the installation:
    1. Ensure that the Status column for Cloud Cost Control displays Installed.

    2. In the Helix Capacity Optimization Dashboard, expand the left navigation pane and select Cloud Cost Control.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
