Defining and managing a cost model template
To view cost model templates
Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost Model Template page consists of the following elements:

To view details of a cost model template
- Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost model templates page is displayed. Click name of the require cost model template.
The Details page for cost model templates is displayed.

To add a new cost model template
- Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost model templates page is displayed. Click Add.
The Add cost model template page is displayed.
Enter the following details.- Click Save.
To edit a cost model template
- Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost model templates page is displayed. - Click name of the required cost model template.
The Details page for cost model templates is displayed. - Click Edit.
The Edit cost model template page is displayed. Edit the following details.
- Click Save.
Deleting a cost model template
You can delete a cost model template that is not required for accounting IT costs in your organization.
Before you begin
Ensure that cost model template is not associated with any cost model. If it is associated with any cost model, delete the cost model before you try to delete the cost model template.
To delete a cost model template
- Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost model templates page is displayed. - Click name of the required cost model template.
The Details page of the cost model template is displayed. - Click OK to delete the selected cost model template.
The selected template is deleted.
To add a report template to the cost model template
- Select Chargeback > Cost model templates.
The Cost model templates page is displayed. - Click name of the required cost model template.
The Details page of the cost model template is displayed. - Select the Report templates tab.
- Click Add.
The Add report template page is displayed. Enter the following details.

Period
Select the required option from the list. Cost model associated with the cost model template will be automatically executed to generate the report according to the period selected for this template.
Report templates
Select the required report templates from the Source table, and add them to the Selection table using the >> button or by clicking+dragging them. In the Selection table, select the required report templates, and click << to remove them.
For the cost models that are based on this cost model template, when the reports are generated based on the selected templates.Advanced options

Export formats
Select the required export format. If you do not select any option, the report is exported in all formats that are supported.
Email recipient
Type the required email details of the recipient.
Email attachment format
Select the required email attachment format. If you do not select any option, the generated report is attached in all formats that are supported.
Email link format
Select the required email link format. If you do not select any option, the report link is added in the email for all formats that are supported.
Compress email attachments
Select this option to compress attachments in the email.
Report name
By default, the report template is configured to generate a report using "Cost model name - report template name" as the syntax for the report name. You can modify the name as required.
Result name
By default, the report template is configured to generate a report using "From (dd/MM/yyyy)" as the syntax for the result name. This name is appended to the report filename. You can modify the name as required.
File name
By default, the report template is configured to generate a report using "Cost model name - report template name From (dd/MM/yyyy)" as the syntax for the filename. You can modify the name as required.
