Use the information in this section to understand the primary milestones for getting familiar with the BMC Helix Single Sign-On (BMC Helix SSO) product documentation.

Quick overview

BMC Helix SSO is an authentication system for a multi software environment that enables end users to present credentials for authentication only once. After BMC Helix SSO authenticates the end users, the end users are automatically authenticated to other applications protected by BMC Helix SSO and are not required to provide the credentials again. The following screenshot displays an example of a BMC Helix SSO start page:
