Branding the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On login page


In BMC Atrium Single Sign-On, branding refers to the ability to customize the look and feel of the login page by uploading the customer's brand-related image files and messages.

You can customize the login page of your application using the BMC Atrium SSO Tenant Console.

Customizing the login page

  1. In the BMC Atrium SSO Tenant Console, click the Branding tab.
  2. On the Branding panel, enter the parameter values. For information, see configuring the branding parameters.
  3. To preview the changes, click the Preview panel.
  4. Verify the configuration and perform one of the following actions:

    • To confirm the changes, click Save.
    • To reset the values to the last saved configuration, click Revert to Saved.

    Note

    When you click Save, the changes made on both tabs (SAMLv2 Configuration and SSO Branding) are saved.

After you confirm and save the changes, the data is replicated on all BMC Atrium Single Sign-On servers in the cluster, and the appropriate file-system data per tenant is modified. The tenant administrator does not need to update all of the servers in the cluster individually.

Font color of the text on the Login page

Note

You can select a color from the color palette, or you can type the hexadecimal code for a color; for example, #0069a5.

Logo file

To upload the logo of your product or organization, click Browse, find the logo file on your computer, and upload it.

Login background file

To upload the background image for the login page, click Browse, find the background file on your computer, and upload it.

Note

You can use .png, .gif, or .jpeg file formats for uploading files. The overall size of all uploaded files included cannot be more than 100 KB. By default, BMC Atrium Single Sign-On recommends images with following resolutions:

  • Logo file: 131px × 32px
  • Login background file: 483px × 193px

You can use the Preview panel to view how the image will be displayed on the login page.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
