System requirements for the on-premises gateway


Before you deploy the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations on-premises gateway, ensure that your environment meets the following hardware and software requirements.

System requirements for deployments on Docker containers

Requirement

Description

Hardware

CPU: Minimum 8 CPUs with Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) enabled

Memory: 32 GB

Disk space: 

  • /opt/bmc directory with 250 GB disk space (required for the container images and utility)
  • Docker deployment: /var/lib/docker directory with 100 GB disk space
  • Podman deployment: /var/lib/containers directory with 100 GB disk space

Operating system

  • CentOS 8.x, 9.x
  • Oracle Linux 8.6, 9.x
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x, 9.x

Software

  • Docker Engine 23.or later
    To install Docker Engine, see Install Docker Engine.

  • Docker Compose 2.6.or later
  • Permissions to access BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations within the tenant

    podman-compose with Podman as the runtime.
