Obtain the container images and the utility files required to deploy the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations on-premises gateway.

To download the container images and utilities files for use with a Helix subscription

Contact BMC Support to obtain the following files:

  • Utility file: hii-bmc-<buildNumber>.zip
  • Container images:
    On-premises gateway versionFile nameDescriptionDownload required?

    Yes, if you want to monitor the on-premises gateway

    Even if you don't obtain and load these images, you can continue monitoring the on-premises gateway instances by using events.

To download the container images and utilities files for use with BMC Helix IT Operations Management on premises

  1. Log in to EPD by using your Support user ID and password.
    You might also be prompted to complete the Export Compliance Form. If you are accessing this site for the first time, create a new EPD profile to specify the languages and platforms that you want to download. For assistance with EPD, see EPD site help.

  2. Download the following files:
    • Utility file: hii-bmc-<buildNumber>.zip
    • Container images:

Important
Starting with version 25.4, the BMC Helix IT Operations Management (BMC Helix ITOM) on-premises deployment includes services that offer the following capabilities of BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations:

  • II Admin role to allow users to manage the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations connectors and configurations, improving security and operational flexibility. In earlier versions, only the tenant administrators can perform these tasks. 
  • A proxy service for communication between BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations and the BMC Helix ITOM object storage in high-availability deployments for improved reliability.

When you deploy the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations services during the BMC Helix ITOM on-premises deployment, services only for the listed capabilities are deployed. For information on deploying BMC Helix ITOM, see Deploying BMC Helix IT Operations Management.

To access the full functionality of BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations, you must also deploy BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations in a standalone environment (referred to as on-premises gateway). For more information, see Deploying the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations on-premises gateway.
