Monitoring the on-premises gateway node for streaming interruptions and node health by using the dashboard

Use the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations Node dashboard to monitor the overall health of the on-premises host on which BMC Helix Intelligent Integrationsis deployed. In addition, identify any interruptions in data collection and distribution by viewing the HTTP response and throughput.

Example: Track down a streaming interruption

Susan, a tenant administrator, monitors the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations Node dashboard regularly. She notices an entry in the HTTPS 4xx panel, which means that data streaming for a third-party source is interrupted. She performs the following steps to track down the issue:

  1. She hovers over the entry in the HTTPS 4xx panel, which indicates that the streaming is interrupted for Dynatrace. That means either the source connection or destination connection is not configured properly.
  2. From the BMC Helix Intelligent Integrations UI, she checks the source and distribution connection details for the Dynatrace connector. After checking the details, she realizes that the Dynatrace source details are not specified correctly.
  3. She rectifies and validates the source connection details.
    Data streaming resumes.
