Configuring the Ansible Automation Platform cloud connector
Task 1: To configure the Ansible Automation Platform connector
- In the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation console, go to Connectors > Available Connectors.
- Click Configure against the Ansible Platform connector.

- Enter a unique name for the connector.
- Enter the endpoint URL for the Ansible Automation Platform.
- Enter the username and password required to access the Ansible Platform application.
- Click Save.
The connector is saved and appears under the Configured Connectors tab with the status as Connected.
If the connector is not successfully connected, the status appears as Disconnected.
Task 2: To sync actions without navigating to the policy page
After configuring the Ansible Platform connector, perform the following steps:
- Go to Connectors > Configured Connectors.
- Click Edit for the Ansible Platform connector.
- On the Available Connectors page, click View Actions.
- On the Select an Action page, perform one of the following tasks:
- To search for a specific action, enable the Search Online option and enter the action name in the Search Actions box.
Actions are retrieved from the Ansible Platform. If this option is disabled, actions are retrieved from local storage. - To update the connector with the latest actions, click Sync Action.
All actions available in the Ansible Platform are displayed. You can search for an action in the Search Actions box after the sync is complete. - (Optional) To view the configuration of any available action, click Action > View.
The Configure an Action window displays the configuration details for the selected action.
- To search for a specific action, enable the Search Online option and enter the action name in the Search Actions box.
