Using filters and filter groups

Filters and filter groups enable you to limit the data that you can view in a generated report.

Using filters

To use filters on a report, after you drag and drop fields in the Columns field while creating a report, drag and drop the same fields to the Filters area. You can filter the generated report on the field that you dropped in the Filters area.

Using filter groups

Filter groups are a predefined set of filters that enable you to use a multi-level filter on a generated report. A multi-level filter enables you to filter on all the conditions in the group filter one after the other. You can use the out-of-the box filter groups while selecting fields for your report.
