Configuring links to navigate between dashboards or view an external website

As a tenant administrator or an editor, you can configure an external link from a dashboard, or you can configure links to other dashboards within BMC Helix Dashboards. You can use links to create cross-launches to other BMC Helix applications.

To add a link

1. On a dashboard, click Edit on the upper-right corner.
2. Click the Settings.
3. On the settings page, click the Links tab.
4. On the Links page, if you are adding the first link from the dashboard, click Add dashboard link. Else, click New link.
5. Select a link type.
   Use the dashboards type to configure a link to another dashboard within BMC Helix Dashboards.
   Use the link type to configure an external link.
6. Configure the other options and click Back to list.
7. Click Save Dashboard, then click Save.

To edit a link

1. On a dashboard, click Edit on the upper-right corner.
2. Click the Settings.
3. On the settings page, click the Links tab.
4. On the Links page, click a link that you want to edit.
5. Make your changes and click Back to list.
6. Click Save Dashboard, then click Save.

To delete a link

1. On a dashboard, click Edit on the upper-right corner.
2. Click the Settings.
3. On the settings page, click the Links tab.
4. On the Links page, click the Delete icon .
5. Click Delete.​​
6. Click Save Dashboard, then click Save.
