Generate dashboards based on the new and updated BMC Helix ITSM views

Specify prompts to generate dashboards that use the following BMC Helix ITSM views. Use these dashboards for managing tasks, service requests, and changes.

  • Task Management
  • Workorder Management
  • Incident Management that includes these fields:
    • Audit log
    • Calculated fields related to incident count, age, and MTTR

Configure a date format for a report file

While creating a report schedule, configure a date format for the selected report file to be shared with the recipients via an FTP server or email. The date is added to the file name in the configured format. Configuring the preferred date format improves usability and aligns with regional expectations.

Export dashboards to CSV without headers

Configure the settings to export dashboards to the CSV format by omitting header rows.

Use the BMC Helix Automation and Compliance dashboard to identify systems that have missing patches and vulnerabilities. The dashboard provides key metrics about asset counts, risk occurrences, remediation trends, policy status, and business services at risk to help you reduce downtime, mitigate risks, and enhance service reliability.

(Controlled availability customers only) Configure the BMC Helix Connected Maps visualization to track vehicles on a map

As an administrator or editor, configure the BMC Helix Connected Maps visualization plug-in while creating a custom dashboard. Use this dashboard to achieve the following goals:

  • Monitor live fleet movements, improving situational awareness and decision-making
  • Optimize route planning and minimize fuel consumption by identifying the most efficient routes.
  • Identify delays, route diversions, or idle times
