Storage Overview dashboard

As an administrator, use the Storage Overview dashboard to view an overview of your storage system. You can view this dashboard only if you use the Storage Analyzer KM.

The following image shows the Storage Overview dashboard:

  To view the dashboard:

  1. In BMC Helix Dashboards from the navigation menu, click Dashboards.
  2. Click the Operations Management folder and click Storage Overview.

Tip: To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page. Type your information message here.

Panels in the Storage Overview dashboard

Selection menu

The selection menu of the dashboard. Use this menu to select the following details about the storage system that you want to view:

  • Vendor
  • Storage System
  • Storage Controllers
  • Storage Ports
  • Storage Filesystems
  • Storage Physical Disks
  • Storage Pools

Use the main time filter of the Storage Overview dashboard to select the time period that you want to view the information for.

Expand the sections to view the following information:

  • Overview section: Displays an overview of the selected storage system during the selected time period. This section is expanded by default.
    The following panels are available:
