Oracle Health dashboard


 As an administrator, use the Oracle Health dashboard to view information about the health of the Oracle instances in your system. You can view this dashboard only if you use the Oracle OEM knowledge module.

The following image shows the Oracle Health dashboard:

To view the dashboard:

  1. In BMC Helix Dashboards from the navigation menu, click Dashboards.
  2. Click the Operations Management folder and click Oracle Health.

Tip: To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page. Type your information message here.

Panels in the Oracle Health dashboard

RAC Instance Status

Displays the status and the count of the Oracle RAC instances in your system.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy
  • Warning

Click anywhere on the panel to view details in the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard.

In the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard, click any row to view the Oracle Overview dashboard.

RAC Instances Read/Write State

Displays the number of nodes in your RAC environment with read/write access and their status.

The following values are valid:

  • Open
  • Not Open

Click anywhere on the panel to view details in the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard.

In the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard, click any row to view the Oracle Overview dashboard.

RAC Node Instances

Displays the count of the RAC nodes on the Oracle Server by instance status.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy
  • Warning

Click anywhere on the panel to view details in the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard.

In the Oracle Health Drilldown dashboard, click any row to view the Oracle Overview dashboard.

RAC Table Space

Displays the count of monitored tablespaces and their status based on their used space percent. 

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy: Less than 75% of space used
  • Warning: Equal to or greater than 75% of space used

FRA Disk Space

Displays the count of FRA disks and their status by disk space used by fast recovery area files.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy: Less than 75% of space used
  • Warning: Equal to or greater than 75% of space used

OS Processes

Displays the count and status of OS processes based on the percentage of processes used.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy: Less than 75% of processes used
  • Warning: Equal to or greater than 75% of processes used

OS Enqueue Locks

Displays the count and status of enqueue locks based on the value.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy: Less than 1000 enqueue locks used
  • Warning: Equal to or greater than 1000 enqueue locks used

User Sessions

Displays the count of user sessions based on the total user sessions value.

The following values are valid:

  • Healthy: Less than 1000 user sessions
  • Warning: Equal to or greater than 1000 user sessions
