User interface overview
BMC Helix Dashboards, accessible from BMC Helix Portal, provides a simple and user-friendly interface for viewing and managing dashboards. The homepage displays links to documentation, video tutorials, and communities, making it easy to find help. It also displays recently viewed dashboards for quick access. Use the configuration options to view and create dashboards, manage queries, set users and access and schedule reports. On the bottom-right corner, a self-help section is available for step-by-step assistance.
With its easy navigation and interactive features, BMC Helix Dashboards helps users monitor key metrics, troubleshoot issues, and improve system performance.

Dashboards page
The Dashboards page displays the folders containing product-specific, out-of-the-box dashboards. Click New to create a new dashboard.

Explore page
Click Explore to inspect queries and visualizations. On this page, you can perform the following tasks:
- Create SQL queries to fetch data and inspect them by using Query Inspector.
- Run queries to visualize and analyze the results.
- Explore and select the appropriate visualization types.

Administration page
Use the Administration page to perform the following tasks: -
- Click General to manage the default preferences, such as theme and time zone.
- Click Users and access to manage the roles and permissions.

Report Scheduler page
As a tenant administrator, use the Report Scheduler page to create and manage reports. You can schedule reports to be sent automatically to the right recipients at the set time.
