Chris is a Configuration Manager at Apex Global. He and his team perform annual maintenance on all the company's IT assets, and they need to review an inventory of hundreds of IT assets.
Chris looks at the CMDB Stale CI dashboard and quickly realizes that many assets are in use but have not been scanned and are not being tracked. He uses this insight and schedules the maintenance activity to prioritize fixing these unscanned IT assets before looking at the other assets.
