Creating custom dashboards by using HelixGPT Insight Finder

HelixGPT Insight Finder is an intelligent AI-powered tool that simplifies the process of creating custom dashboards for the BMC Helix ITSM and BMC Helix AIOps products. It provides a conversational experience to quickly build dashboards. You can specify your requirements as prompts to the tool. It analyzes the prompts and provides responses in the form of dashboard panels. You can save them as a custom dashboard.

To create a dashboard by using HelixGPT Insight Finder

1. As an administrator, log in to BMC Helix Portal, and open BMC Helix Dashboards.
2. In the left navigation pane, click HelixGPT Insight Finder.
3. Add your query as a prompt in the chat window.
   
   
   
   Example prompt: Give me a list of critical situations in the last 30 days.
   HelixGPT Insight Finder provides a response in the form of a panel that displays data according to the supported visualization types, such as tables or bar charts.
4. (Optional) Perform one of the following steps:
   • Repeat the previous step to add another query.
     HelixGPT Insight Finder provides a response in another panel.
   • Click Add new panel and specify the required panel configurations, such as query type and visualization type.
     HelixGPT Insight Finder creates the panel based on the specified configurations.
5. After you are satisfied with the results, click Save to save the custom dashboard.
   The dashboard is saved, and a confirmation message is displayed.
