Use the enhanced Visual Query Builder
The Visual Query Builder includes the following improvements:
- Not Equal operator to define filter conditions while you configure a SQL query.
- String and Date functions to customize a SQL query:
- String To Number
- First Day Of Month
- First Day Of Quarter
- First Day Of Year
- Weekday Name
- Month Name

Disable report schedules of deleted users
If you delete a user in BMC Helix Portal, the report schedules created by the user in BMC Helix Dashboards are disabled. In addition, the email address of the user is excluded from the recipient list while creating a new report schedule.

View the details of active and inactive users
Use the Users and Report Scheduler Statistics dashboard to view details, such as name and email address of users that were active or inactive in the last 30 days.

Analyze the user feedback for BMC HelixGPT
Use the BMC HelixGPT feedback dashboard to review and analyze the feedback received for each skill from users about their experience with the BMC HelixGPT sessions.
The dashboard provides actionable insights to optimize HelixGPT performance and improve skills and prompts. With these insights, refine skills and prompts to ensure that BMC HelixGPT responses align better with user expectations and improve the overall user experience.

Disable the sharing of empty reports during a schedule run
Specify whether you want to disable the sharing of empty reports with recipients during a schedule run. Use this option to make sure that recipients always get valid reports with data.

View the database column names for fields in Visual Query Builder
Hover over a field name to quickly view the corresponding database column name in Visual Query Builder.

View the statistics of all the dashboards in your organization
Use Dashboard statistics for your organization to view the consolidated statistics of all the dashboards available across your organization, such as views and load time. Use this information to optimize the performance of dashboards.

Identify risks in installed software by using the Discovery Software Risk Assessment dashboard
Use the Discovery Software Risk Assessment dashboard to identify software or operating systems that have exceeded the end of life and are vulnerable to security threats. The dashboard provides information about software, such as installed packages, affected services, hosts, running instances of the software, and so on.

View unassigned assets that are not mapped to people or support groups
Use the Unassigned Assets report to get an overview of the type and number of assets not mapped to any people or support groups and hence, are not discoverable. Use this report to ensure that the asset and owner mapping is up to date.

Confirm report deletion
Provide confirmation before you delete a scheduled report to prevent accidental deletion. When you click Delete, the confirmation window displays the reports that are selected for deletion.

Manage the events, metrics, and logs data of multiple organizations
As a tenant administrator, configure multiple organizations in a single tenant to visualize and monitor their events, metrics, and logs data. With this configuration, you can save the cost of managing and maintaining separate tenants. Users that belong to an organization can only view data specific to their organization.

Use the Dynamic Fields Formatter transformation to visualize dynamic content in the JSON format or as key-value pairs for better clarity and readability.

Create and manage roles in BMC Helix Dashboards
Role-based access management has moved from BMC Helix Portal to BMC Helix Dashboards. Use role-based access control from BMC Helix Dashboards to provide customized and granular permissions to users and teams. As a reporting administrator, perform these tasks to manage roles and permissions:
- Assign out-of-the-box system roles such as Viewer, Editor, and Admin to users and teams.
- Create custom roles to provide granular permissions; for example, permission to create dashboard reports and also to schedule, edit, and delete them.

Use the web proxy to route network traffic from Reporting Metadata Studio
Configure the webproxy.properties file to route connection requests from Reporting Metadata Studio through the web proxy used for network security.
