BMC Helix ITSM Archived Work Orders dashboard
The Archived Work Orders dashboard shows metrics for completed and archived work orders. You can filter the work order data by company name. You can also specify a time range to display data for that time interval. By default, the dashboard displays data for the last 30 days.
You can use this historical data to analyze the work order completion trend, identify areas that require investigation and improvement, and implement appropriate changes in the work order processes to ensure service targets are met in the future.
Example: View metrics of the completed work orders by their SLM status
The work order manager wants to view metrics of the completed work orders based on their SLM status.

To view the Archived Work Orders dashboard
- From the navigation menu
, click Dashboards.
- Click the Helix ITSM folder and then click Archived Work Orders.
Panels in the Archived Work Orders dashboard
The following table describes the panels in the Archived Work Orders dashboard:

Dashboard filters | You can use the Company filter to filter the completed work order data by company in the dashboard. Additionally, you can select a time range to display the completed work order data of that time interval in the dashboard. By default, the dashboard displays data for the last 30 days. | |
Total submitted Work orders | Displays the total number of work orders created during the time range you select. To view the list of these work orders, click the number displayed in the panel. The list of work orders is displayed in the Work Order Archive Dashboard Detailed Report. | |
Total completed Work orders | Displays the total number of work orders completed during the time range you select. To view the list of these work orders, click the number displayed in the panel. The list of work orders is displayed in the Work Order Archive Dashboard Detailed Report. | |
Average completion time | Displays the average completion time of the work orders. | |
Completed Work order SLA status | Displays a pie chart representing the percentage of completed work orders based on their SLM status. The panel also displays legends along with the number and percentage of completed work orders based on their SLM status. To include or exclude work orders with a specific SLM status from the pie chart, click the legend representing the SLM status. To view the list of work orders with a specific SLM status, click the portion in the pie chart representing that SLM status. The list of work orders is displayed in the Work Order Archive Dashboard Detailed Report. | |
Work orders submitted vs completed | Displays a trend chart representing the work orders created versus those completed during the time range you select. Hover over the date to view the number of work orders created and completed on that date. | |
Completed Work orders by assignee group (Top 10) | Displays a bar chart representing 10 assignee support groups with the highest number of completed work orders during the time range you select. To view the list of completed work orders of a specific support group, click the bar representing that support group in the bar chart. The list of work orders is displayed in the Work Order Archive Dashboard Detailed Report. | |
Work orders submitted per company | Displays a bar chart representing the number of work orders created by each company during the time range you select. To include or exclude work orders created by a specific company from the bar chart, click the legend representing the company. To view the list of work orders created by a specific company, click the bar representing that company in the bar chart. The list of work orders is displayed in the Work Order Archive Dashboard Detailed Report. |
