Viewing a dashboard JSON model

As a tenant administrator, an editor, or a viewer, you can view the JSON model of a dashboard to perform the following tasks:

  • View the dashboard metadata
  • Copy the JSON model to use it as a base to create a new dashboard
  • Export dashboards
  • Import dashboards

To view the JSON model of a dashboard, click the Dashboard settings icon dashboard_settings_icon.pngfor the dashboard, and click JSON Model.

If you make any changes to the model, click Save Changes, and then click Save dashboard on the left navigation pane.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
