Renaming a BMC Atrium DIL cluster


Follow the procedure given below to rename a BMC Atrium DIL cluster.

  1. On the primary BMC Atrium DIL server node, navigate to BSMDASHBOARDS_HOME\DIL\CIS\apps\dil and run DILCluster.bat (Microsoft Windows) or DILCluster.sh (UNIX or Linux).
  2. In the BMC Atrium DIL Configuration Utility, type option 4 (Rename BMC Atrium DIL cluster) and press Enter.
  3. At the prompt New Cluster Name, type the new cluster name and press Enter.
  4. If you use a cluster name with spaces, ensure that the cluster name is enclosed in quotation marks, for example, "My New Cluster".

    The output that you see is similar to the following example:
