Managed File Transfer

Forward proxy

In Control-M MFT Enterprise, you can now transfer files through a build-in forward proxy:

  • Installed as part of the MFT Gateway installation
  • Acts as HTTP proxy for simple tunneling of the following protocols utilized by MFT jobs: SFTP, FTP/S, S3
  • Performs as a standalone process, with a dedicated log file

Sub-folders under virtual folders

In Control-M MFT Enterprise, external users are now able to create, update, delete, and rename sub-folders under virtual folders (incoming or outgoing) using SFTP or FTPS protocols. Up to ten levels of sub-folders are supported.

Virtual folders without the incoming/outgoing sub-folders structure

In Control-M MFT Enterprise, you can now define folders as having access to incoming/outgoing sub-folders, or unlimited access.

For folders with limited access to incoming/outgoing sub-folders, external users have Write access to the incoming sub-folder and all its sub-subfolders, and Read access to the outgoing sub-folder and all its sub-folders.

For folders with unlimited access, external users have write-access to the virtual folder root level and all its sub-folders.
