Control-M MFT Enterprise Centralized Database

BMC is announcing that Control-M MFT Enterprise 9.0.27, which is scheduled for release in October 2026, will contain new Multi-Hub configurations for High Availability environments. The new configuration improves failover times, increases reliability for High Availability environments, and lays the foundation for future Disaster Recovery capabilities.

Multi-Hub configurations for High Availability environments will now store all site data and configurations in a remote centralized database. The enhancement does not apply to sites with single-Hub configurations.

If you want to upgrade a High Availability environment to Control-M MFT Enterprise 9.0.27, you need to do one of the following:

• Install a BMC-provided Control-M MFT Enterprise Database on a separate host according to the installation instructions in the documentation.
• Provide your own external database that is deployed on a separate host. Control-M MFT Enterprise supports the following external databases:
  • PostgreSQL 15 or higher
  • Oracle 19c or higher, and 26ai
