Attribute in the Compliance reports to display more than 2000 characters

When creating a custom report for the Compliance domain, use the new attribute, Rule Result String(Long) from the Compliance Rule Result folder, to display the data containing more than 2000 characters. When using this attribute in a custom report, select the Show Duplicate Records option.

In earlier versions, you had to use two attributes, Rule Result String and Rule Result String Overflow to display the data containing more than 2000 characters. Starting from this version, these attributes are no longer available.

If you were using any of these attributes in earlier versions, update the report after upgrading to 21.3 to display data for the new attribute. For instructions on updating reports, see step 16 in Post-upgrade tasks.

Increased character limit for the Event Message attribute in the Job Activity reports

The Event Message attribute in the Job Run Event folder displays the data containing more than 2000 characters. In earlier versions, the data exceeding 2000 characters was truncated. If you are using this attribute when creating a custom report, select the Show Duplicate Records option.


Performance improvement in custom Inventory reports

New indexes are created on the SNAPSHOT FACT tables. This leads to performance improvements in the custom Inventory reports that use joins on the following attributes:

  • Job
  • Template
  • Server


Compatibility with TrueSight Server Automation and TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform

TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse 21.3 is compatible with the following products:

  • TrueSight Server Automation 20.02 and later
  • TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform 20.02.02
