Patching reports

Patching reports help you understand how the servers in the data center conform to vendor recommendations and can be used to track patch policy compliance over time. Summary reports show data for installed and missing patches, such as the number of patches installed, the number of missing patches, and the number of servers audited. Details reports show data for missing patches.

To collect data in Patching reports, you need to set up and run the Patching Jobs in TrueSight Server Automation. For more information, see Setting up data collection for Patch reports.

Important

Use the Patch Model - Detail Information model instead of Patch Model - Summarized Information model to create custom reports for the Patch domain.

For information about creating custom reports, see Creating-reports.

The following table summarizes the built-in Patching reports. For more information, see Running-out-of-the-box-reports.
