System requirements for TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse

Confirm that the server where you plan to install TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse  meets these requirements.

Database support

The following databases are supported:

Ensure that the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database and the TrueSight Server Automation database are of the same type. For example, both the databases must be either Oracle or SQL Server. Their versions can be different.


Using Enterprise Edition of databases

BMC recommends that you use the Enterprise Edition of SQL Server or Oracle databases. While the product is designed to work with the Standard Edition of these databases, the Enterprise Edition offers better performance when managing large data volumes.
