Running ETL
The first time that you run extract, transform, and load (ETL) after installing the product, it populates the empty reports data warehouse and can take some time. The amount of the data transferred during the first ETL run depends on the number of months that you specify while configuring the primary site for the ETL cutoff period. For information about ETL cutoff period, see Managing-sites.
- Use the run_etl_from_tssa.nsh script to create a TrueSight Server Automation Network Shell Job that runs ETL. This is the recommended method of running ETL.
- Use the run_etl.nsh script to run ETL in scheduled runs or directly from the command line.
