Unable to view Chinese characters in the Smart Report PDF


When you download a Smart Report as a PDF file, the Chinese characters in the report are not displayed.

Solution

Ensure that TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform is enabled to export Chinese characters. To do this, perform the following tasks:

  1. As an Administrator, launch TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform from the component console.
  2. From the left navigation pane, go to Administration > Configuration.
  3. Click the tssr_region_icon.png icon, and expand Text Formats.
  4. In the Default Language Font list, select any of the Chinese fonts.
  5. Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
