Notification of a critical issue with the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse ETL job

BMC Software is alerting users of TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse about a critical issue with the ETL job.

Issue details

After you run the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse ETL job, TrueSight Server Automation job run data from Jan 1 2021 and later is not loaded into the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database. Therefore, reports based on TrueSight Server Automation job runs are not populated with the job results data from the year 2021.

This issue is applicable to all the versions of TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse.

Symptoms

The following symptoms are observed:

  • SQL Server environments
    The reports (such as Compliance, Inventory, Patching, and Job Activity) do not display data for the TrueSight Server Automation job results from 2021.

  • Oracle environments
    The ETL job fails with the following error message (The specified stored procedure that throws this error may vary):

    ODI-1228: Task LOAD_EXTENDED_OBJECT_INFO (Procedure) fails on the target ORACLE connection
    BSA_phy_dw_svr_site1.
    Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20001: Procedure load_extended_object_info Failed with
    error message ORA-01403: no data found
    ORA-06512: at "BDSSA_DW.LOAD_EXTENDED_OBJECT_INFO", line 925
    ORA-06512: at line 2
