Restarting the RSCD agent

During the installation of TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse, system environment variables are set. The TrueSight Server Automation Remote System Call Daemon (RSCD) agent and its children can inherit those system environment variables. You must restart the RSCD agent that is installed on the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse computer so that the agent inherits the system variables.

If you are using Oracle databases for installation, ensure that you have set global_names variable to true before restarting the RSCD agent.
