Refreshing the environment variable

As a TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse Administrator, you need to refresh BDS_HOME environment variable after you have installed and configured TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse, otherwise an error message appears while running ETL for the first time.

Do the following:

  1. Right-click Computer and select Properties.
  2. In the Tasks pane, click Advanced System Settings.

  3. In the System Properties dialog box, click Environment Variables.

    Note

    The steps to access the environment variables might vary across operating systems.

  4. Under System variables, double-click the BDS_HOME product system variable.
  5. Click OK. 
    The system environment variable is refreshed.
