UCS Template - Policies tab

The Policies tab enables you to select policies from the UCS Manager server and add them to the template.

You can specify names for the following policies:

  • Host Firmware Policy
  • Stats Collection Policy
  • IPMI Policy
  • Management Firmware Policy
  • Local Disk Policy
  • Scrub Policy
  • Dynamic vNIC Policy

To select a policy name, click the browse button and navigate through the Live node in the UCS Manager server to the policy you want.

Warning

Note

The UCS template remembers only the name of each policy, not its path. The path to each policy will always be part of the Org under which the profile is created, and you do not specify the Org until you run the provisioning wizard.
