Installation fails due to a known issue with the InstallAnywhere launcher

Installation fails with the following error message:

libXtst.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The problem is due to a known issue with the InstallAnywhere launcher (a third-party software). If the DISPLAY variable is set, the InstallAnywhere launcher tries to initialize the required library files and fails if those library files are not available.

To resolve this problem, before you launch the installer (even if you are using silent mode), unset the DISPLAY variable.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
