Running the patch downloader utility for rpmLinux

You can run the patch downloader utility to download the patches for CentOS and OL ULN.

Warning

Note

When running the offline downloader, make sure that you run it with the sh command. If you are not using the sh command, make sure that you have executable permissions (755) to run the script.

To run the patch downloader utility

Do the following:

  1. Log in to the CentOS or OL ULN system.
  2. Navigate to the path where the patch downloader utility is available.

  3. Run the following command:

    rpmlinux_downloader.sh -configFile "<downloaderConfigurationFilePath>"

    where <downloaderConfigurationFilePath> is the path where the configuration file is stored.
    The patches as specified in the filters section of the configuration file are downloaded.
