Viewing the log for a Provision Job

To view the messages generated by a Provision Job run, you can display its log.

To view the log for a job in progress

  1. Double-click the job node in the Task in Progress panel.
     The job run log appears.

To view the log for a completed job

  1. Open the Jobs folder, navigate to a Provision Job, right-click the job and select Show Results.
     The hierarchy on the left side of the Results tab lists the job runs.
  2. Select a job run, right-click and select Show Log.
     The log of events for the job appears.
  3. To display messages in a dialog box that allows you to scroll through messages one by one, double-click a message. The Log Item Details dialog box opens. Click the Up arrow or Down arrow to scroll through messages.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
