Checking the status of a SOCKS proxy server
Through the Infrastructure Management window, you can check the proxy server to see if it is running.
To check the status of a SOCKS proxy server
- Select Configuration > Infrastructure Management.
- In the Infrastructure Management window, expand the Proxy Servers folder.
- Right-click the name of the proxy server you want to check. Then select Update Proxy Server Status from the pop-up menu.
The Application Server "pings" the SOCKS proxy server and displays a return status message in the right pane of the Infrastructure Management window. If the proxy server is not running, its name shows a red X icon (
).
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
