Inventory Summary By OS
Provides a graphical and tabular view of server distribution by OS name and OS version.

Server Count: Drill-through on this column takes you to the Inventory Details report.

Inventory Details
Provides detailed server inventory information by OS name and version.
Information displayed in the report is dependent on the Snapshot Job runs on hardware information in BMC Server Automation. The data shown in the report is derived from the latest job runs of the corresponding items (such as RAM and CPU). To display report data, regular Snapshot Jobs must be run.

OS Name

Server Configuration
Provides a complete inventory of all hardware and software objects on a server.
Configuration reports are available for all supported operating systems.
A Server Configuration can be used as a bill of materials, a detailed specification, or a thorough documentation of the requirements for a system that supports a software application.

Includes attributes for the following assets for all OS types:
Server Overview, Physical Memory, CPU, Logical Storage, Network Card
Includes attributes for the following assets for Microsoft Windows:
Complus, Dot Net Assemblies, Event Logs, Local Groups, Local Users, Registry, Security Settings, Services, Windows Application, Windows Hotfix
Includes attributes for the following assets for Linux:
Daemons, Processes, RPM, UNIX Groups, UNIX Users
Includes attributes for the following assets for IBM AIX:
AIX Package, AIX Patch, Daemons, Processes, UNIX Groups, UNIX Users
Includes attributes for the following assets for Oracle Solaris:
Solaris Package, Solaris Patch
Includes attributes for the following assets for HP-UX:
HP Bundle, HP Patch, HP Product

Virtual Inventory: Virtual Vs Physical
Provides a graphical and tabular view of number of physical and virtual machines for an operating system.
This reports also lists the total number of physical and virtual machines.
