Assigning multicast permissions to reporting users

As a TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform or a component administrator, you can assign the Multicast Reports and Multicast Access Filter Reports permissions for a role in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform. With these permissions, reporting users can broadcast reports.

Apart from assigning the permissions, you can also broadcast reports to external email addresses, create smart tasks, create personal broadcasts, and schedule reports through FTP. For more information, see Broadcasting reports. 

Do the following:

1. Use the following URL to open the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform login page:
   https://<hostName>:<portNumber>/tsr 
2. In the Log in as list, select TrueSight Smart Reporting - Admin.
3. In the User Name and Password fields, enter the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform administrator credentials.
4. Click LOG IN.
5. In the upper right corner, and click Admin Console.
6. From the Multi-tenant Login list, select Default.
7. Click the menu icon in the upper left corner, and then click Administration > Configuration.
8. Expand Roles to display the list of all the roles.
9. Select a role and expand Report Menu.
10. Select the Multicast Reports and Multicast Access Filter Reports options.
11. Click Save.
