BMC Network Automation adapter

The TrueSight Orchestration application adapter for BMC Network Automation consists of an actor adapter only. The actor adapter sends commands or requests to and receive responses from BMC Network Automation. In other words, the application adapter automates a majority of processes for BMC Network Automation.

The TrueSight Orchestration application adapter for BMC Network Automation manipulates the configuration and compliance of network assets.

The actor adapter for BMC Network Automation application uses the web-service APIs exposed by BMC Network Automation. The actor adapter enables you to perform the following categories of operations in BMC Network Automation:

  • basic operations, such as retrieve device information and device configuration
  • basic jobs, such as backups, commits, job approvals, custom actions, and logging events
