The Power On VM operation submits a task to turn on the virtual machine. If the <status> response element contains success, the <Task> response element contains the ID of the queued task, which you can use to obtain the task status.
After turning on the virtual machine, the Power On VM operation starts the guest operating system, if one is installed.
