Process log changes

This page describes the changes to the process.log file in this release.

Process log file format in the previous release

In the previous release, the process.log file had the following format.

  1. The process start log entry appeared in a separate line.
  2. The log description was not qualified by the phrase "TEXT."
  3. The process termination log entry appeared in a separate line.

New process log file format

In this release, the process.log file has the following format changes:

  1. The process start log entry appears in the same line as the log entry it belongs to and is enclosed in square brackets [].
  2. The log description entry line is qualified by the phrase "TEXT" and is enclosed in square brackets.
  3. The process termination log entry appears in the same line as the log entry it belongs to and is enclosed in square brackets.
  4. Each log entry is associated with the name of the peer that executed the process.
