Updating JAR files to use the Health Dashboard
To use the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Health Dashboard you must replace some JAR files in your BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform environment.
Before you begin
Back up the following existing JAR files for each peer in your BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform environment, except the repository and Operator Control Panel. For most peers, the JAR files are located in the <BAOinstallationDirectory>/tomcat/webapps/<peer>/WEB-INF/lib directory. For the Development Studio peer, the JAR files are located in the <DevelopmentStudioInstallationDirectory>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/5/1/.cp/lib directory.
- api-7.7.02.jar
- foundation-7.7.02.jar
- models-7.7.02.jar
To replace the JAR files
- Create a directory in which to download the patch file.
- Download the 7702-healthdashboard-patch.zip file from BMC Communities.
- Unzip the 7702-healthdashboard-patch.zip file. It contains the following JAR files:
- api-7.7.02.jar
- foundation-7.7.02.jar
- models-7.7.02.jar
- If you have not made a backup of the existing versions of these JAR files for each peer in your environment, back them up now (Before you begin).
- For the Development Studio peer, complete the following steps:
- Shut down Development Studio.
- Replace the existing JAR files in the <DevelopmentStudioInstallationDirectory>/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/5/1/.cp/lib directory with the new JAR files.
- Restart Development Studio.
- For each remaining peer in your BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform environment (except the repository and Operator Control Panel), complete the following steps:
- Stop the peer server.
- Replace the existing JAR files in the <BAOinstallationDirectory>/tomcat/webapps/<peer>/WEB-INF/lib directory with the new JAR files.
- Restart the peer server.
After completing these steps, install the dashboard files, as described in Installing-the-dashboard.
