Description

This topic describes how to create a new service in the Service Catalog for AWS. You must define a service offering that end users can choose in a service catalog when they are provisioning Amazon instances.

This topic describes how to create an AWS service offering instance. It describes how to:

  • Create a requestable offering definition
  • Create a post-deploy action
  • Associate options with a service offering

Once the service has been created, and the service offering has been defined, the offering is available for end users. This topic describes how to submit a request.

This topic describes how cloud administrators can create auto scaling health checks (using the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Service Monitoring feature) to horizontally scale out or scale in a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
